Arriving at Abrahamskraal Guest Farm. Time of arrival will establish the program for the day. Our biggest objective for the day will be to make you disconnect from your busy day to day lives and connect with the calming healing effect of the Karoo.

Depart with bicycles from Abrahamskraal to a neighbouring game farm and drive through the game camp. There will be a water point after 20km. Cycle back to Abrahamskraal.

DAY THREE – O’FOR OLIVE - visit website
Depart with bicycles from Abrahamskraal to an olive farm - O' for Olive. (Heading to Prince Albert) Do a tour through the olive plant, plant, eat breakfast and cycle back to Abrahamskraal. (Abrahamskraal to O' for Olive - 32km. Total 64km)

DAY FOUR – WELTEVREDE - visit website
Depart from Abrahamskraal via Prince Albert to Weltevrede, a famous fig farm south of Prince Albert, located against the Swartberge. Riders can eat at Weltevrede in the beautiful scenery and cycle back to Prince Albert. If there are riders who would like to drive further, they can step back to Abrahamkskraal. (Abrahamskraal to Prince Albert: 35km / Prince Albert - Weltevrede: 24km)

DAY FIVE – SWARTBERG PASS - visit website
Depart per vehicle from Abrahamskraal to Prince Albert. Cycle from Prince Albert - Swartberg Pass. The distance is not great, but the pass is steep. It will take about 2 hours to reach the top of the pass (the record is at 1 hour) but on the other hand it will feel like seconds. Breakfast can be eaten at Kobus-se-gat or at Wilgewandel depending on the weather conditions. For the adventurous adventurers there is still the option to drive via Oudemuragie to De Rust.

DAY SIX – MERWEVILLE - visit website
Depart from Abrahamskraal and cycle on farm roads through farms to the tar road to Merweville. Enjoy refreshments at Prince Albert Road and a meal at Merweville. Come back with the vehicle. (Abrahamskraal to Merweville: 100km)

Departure by vehicle from Abrahamskraal to Prince Albert. Cycle through Prince Albert Valley to Klaarstroom. Eat breakfast at Klaarstroom's small hotel and cycle further through farms and Meiringspoort to De Rust. (100 km) Travel back to Abrahamskraal with vehicle.

Depending on your time of departure, you will either enjoy your last breakfast on Abrahamskraal Guest Farm or you will receive breakfast packs for your journey back home.

Abrahamskraal Guest Farm and Function Venue is a working sheep farm situated on the R353, 33km from Prince Albert, 18 km from Leeu Gamka and only 10 km from the N1.

Tranquillity, peace and luxury await you at this lovely Cape Dutch house. All linen, bath- and hand towels are provided. In the comfortable living area is a fireplace for cold winters evenings and DSTV. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove and oven, microwave oven, fridge/freezer as well as coffee and tea facilities. The house offers a private BBQ area and guests can buy firewood on the farm. At the Farm House, you can relax on the wide, cool verandas while you enjoy the beautiful Karoo Landscapes and the spectacular sunsets.
